‘Intergenerational Opera aims to bring communities together through creative musicmaking.’
As professional Opera singers we believe that music provides such a direct form of expression and communication both of emotion and intellect, and its effect on our overall wellbeing is profound. Therefore, we use singing, composition, and creative group activities to encourage intergenerational relationships to flourish.
In the modern world families are often disconnected either by distance or circumstance leading to a lack of communication in generations. We believe those interactions where we learn about each other whilst learning something new together can enhance our lives in the most memorable way.
